The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Imageworld Technologies, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The USDA, ARS, requirement consists of on-site imaging of specimen packets, application of barcode stickers, and OCR of delicate bound volumes of preserved fungal specimens.. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 518210 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the size standard is $35.0 Million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No telephonic inquires will be honored. The Government will not reimburse interested parties for any expenses related to responding to the Notice of Intent. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
