This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North East Area (NEA) is issuing 12305BERRCTEM001 as a Request for quotations and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2019-02. The Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC) has a requirement/need for a Transmission Electron Microscope. The award will be for the delivery of one unit matching the Details and specifications per the attached SOW. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516; small business size standard is $20.5 Mill. DELIVERY TO: USDA-ARS-ERRC, Wyndmoor PA NOTE: ALL OFFERORS SHALL BE REGISTERED IN THE System for Award Management (SAMS) DATABASE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AN AWARD DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: In order to be considered for award Offerors shall provide 1) a Quote on company letterhead detailing the item description, total price and valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote; 2) at least 3 to 5 references. REJECTION OF QUOTATION: Failure to demonstrate compliance with Specifications will be cause to reject the quote without further discussions. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P).
