The USDA Meat Animal Research Center (MARC) in Clay Center, NE has a requirement for a vendor or contractor with expertise in soybean meal/animal feed. These services require onsite delivery of Soybean Meal. For historical reference; in 2018, USMARC used approximately 685 tons of Soybean Meal. The selected offeror(s) will be awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract covering a period of one year to supply USMARC with Soybean Meal as requested using a written Delivery Order. USMARC anticipates product cost variations due to fluctuating market prices. Vendors wishing to compete for this contract must provide a firm fixed dollar amount (basis) per ton plus/minus Soybean Meal Futures Price. All transportation costs shall be considered inclusive in this price. IDIQ holder(s) will be paid the Soybean Meal Futures Price per ton on day of delivery plus/minus their basis quoted for this award.
