The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract upgrading the electrical and control systems for the Iron Creek Campground and the North Fork Campground Option Item. The well systems are manually operated by campground personnel. Generators are used to power electric well pumps and the water is pumped to storage tanks located above the campgrounds on nearby slope rises. Water is delivered to the campgrounds by gravity feed from tanks. It is anticipated that work would start July 2019. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals necessary to ensure the work is performed in accordance with the solicitation requirements. The project is located at the North Fork Campground and Iron Creek Campground on the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District, on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Directions to campgrounds can be obtained at the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District Office, 10024 US Hwy 12, Randle, WA 98377. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 238210- Electrical Contractors and Other wiring Installation Contractors. The corresponding size standard is $15.0 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience), past performance, capacity to accomplish work on time and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government total estimated value is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. A solicitation for this project will be posted to this website on or around July 8, 2019 with offers due around July 24, 2019.
