The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract services associated with timber sale layout. Specifically, timber sale unit boundaries are to be painted (with tracer paint) and posted (with tags). The paint and tags will be provided by the Forest Service. The project work areas consist of multiple timber sales located approximately 5 to 10 miles south of Randle, WA, and are within the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 115310 with a size standard of $7.5 million. Procurement will be processed following the procedures outlined in FAR part 12 for the Acquisition of Commercial Items. Offerors will be evaluated on price, past performance, experience, and other factors as identified in the solicitation document. The solicitation for this project will be made available on or about May 3, 2019 with quotes due on or about May 17, 2019. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government.
