The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract timber cruising services performed in accordance with the standards stated in the Forest Service Timber Cruising Handbook (FSH 2409.12). Specifically, this project consist of cruising 4 timber sales with the contractor required to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform the work. The project work areas are located on the Mt. Adams and Cowlitz Valley Ranger Districts on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Access to the sites will require a high clearance vehicle with all wheel or 4-wheel drive recommended. A number of units will also require walk in to access. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 115310 with a size standard of $7.5 million. Procurement will be processed following the procedures outlined in FAR part 12 for the Acquisition of Commercial Items. Offerors will be evaluated on price, past performance, experience, and other factors as identified in the solicitation document. The solicitation for this project will be made available on or about May 3, 2019 with quotes due on or about May 17, 2019.
