It is fully anticipated that funds will be made available and committed prior to award. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Region-6 Contracting North intends to solicit for non-commercial thinning of 310 total acres, in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the solicitation. This contract shall be performed on the Hood Canal Ranger District, Olympic National Forest, in Clallam County, Washington State. The Awardee shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to successfully complete performance of the awarded contract as provided in the text of this document, the Detailed Unit Information Sheets and Project Vicinity and Area Maps, except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property. The Period of Performance will be October 2, 2019 through February 29, 2020. The commercial item solicitation will provide complete specifications and robust requirements for technical capability and demonstrated proficiency in order to meet the project's performance parameters. All responsible sources meeting the small business size standard may submit a quote which will be considered by the Government.
