The US Forest Service, Region 6, Willamette National Forest has a requirement to install a new septic system for Bunkhouse M located on the Detroit Ranger District Compound. (Marion County, OR Work includes: The work of this Contract includes all labor and materials required to install a 500 gallon dosing tank in-line with the existing 1000 gallon concrete septic tank, a pump system with all appurtenances including electrical panel, and new drain field at USFS Detroit Ranger Station (RS) Compound located on the Willamette National Forest. This project will abandon the existing drain field built during the 1960 era, install and new dosing tank in line with the existing septic tank with dosing pump system and new drain field meeting the approved permitted Site Plan (Permit Attached as Appendix A-1-3). Contractor shall submit certifications to Marion County Building Inspection Division decommissioning of the existing drain field and construction of the new septic system. Project Location: All work will take place at Detroit Ranger Station Bunkhouse M. The physical address is 14425 N Santiam Hwy SE, Detroit, OR 97342. From Interstate 5, take Exit 253 toward Stayton/Detroit Lake, turn right onto OR-22 E, N Santiam Highway. Then travel approximately 47 miles on Oregon State Highway 22 to the Detroit Ranger Station. The Government’s estimate is under $25,000. Contract performance time of 33 calendar days is estimated to begin May 1, 2020. The project is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns.
