The U.S. Forest Service, Region 6, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest has a requirement for FSR 1376 Chetco Paving and Deep Patch Repair, Gold Beach Ranger District, Curry County, Oregon. This project consists of a base item and 7 optional items. • Base item - pavement patching and overlaying road pavement by using clearing and grubbing, removal of asphalt, culvert installation, roadway excavation and placing waste, placing geogrid reinforcement and crushed aggregate for road stabilization, hot mix asphalt leveling course, pavement milling at bridge approaches, hot mix pavement overlay, pavement markings, ditch reconditioning, traffic control, and seeding and mulching disturbed areas. • Option items 1, 3, and 6 - deep patch repair and road stabilization using clearing and grubbing, surveying and staking, removal of asphalt, roadway excavation and hauling of waste, placing crushed aggregate and pit run, installing MSE wall for road stabilization, traffic control, ditch reconditioning, seeding and mulching, culvert installation, placing hot mix asphalt for road surfacing. • Option items 2, 4, 5, and 7 - deep patch repair and road stabilization using clearing and grubbing, survey and staking, removal of asphalt, roadway excavation and hauling of waste, placing pit run crushed aggregate geogrid reinforcement for road stabilization, traffic control, ditch reconditioning, seeding and mulching, placing hot mix asphalt for road surfacing. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. This project is located in Curry County on the Gold Beach Ranger District on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, Township 40 South, Range 13 West, Section(s) 12, 13 and Township 39 South, Range 12 West, Sections 8, 9, 17, 20, 29, 30, 31 near Brookings, OR. From Brookings, Highway 101 turn east onto N Bank Chetco Rd/ Constitution Way/ County Road 784 approximately 8.2 miles to the end of county maintenance. County Road 784 becomes Chetco River Rd/ NF-1376 and MP 0.0 beginning of project. The Government's estimate is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A bid bond (20%) will be required with offers, and a payment bond (100 percent) and performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Preferred Program (FB4P).
