The objective is to gather vegetation information from plots established in stands on the Forest using the U.S. Forest Service Common Stand Exam Protocols, using an electronic portable data recorder to collect the data, and a GPS unit to locate and document plot location. Stands are 35 to 75 year old managed stands. Stand Exam level is as follows: Tree level = Intensive (3), Veg level = Quick (1), Down Woody = none (0) and Ground Surface = no (0). Plot intensity is 1 plot per 10 acres with a 3 plot minimum per stand. Period of performance is from 15 June 2020 to 30 November 2020. Each item shall be completed no later than the following date: Item 0001 – 7 August 2020 Item 0002 – 2 October 2020 Item 0003 – 30 November 2020 Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
