The US Forest Service will require services for the collection and disposal of refuse from Contractor-furnished collection containers at Forest Service recreation sites and administrative sites on the North Umpqua and Diamond Lake Ranger Districts. The locations are between 35 to 85 miles east of Roseburg, Oregon. The majority of the sites are public day-use and overnight-use areas, such as picnic areas and campgrounds. Sites also include access and parking areas for hiking, fishing, boating, and other recreational activities. Some of the recreation sites are near other commercial facilities heavily used by the public. Several sites are administrative-use facilities for agency employees and volunteers. These services are required throughout the heavy-use recreation season, which is generally limited to the period of late-April through October of each year. The purchase order performance period will be from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020, and will include four option year periods. Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
