The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered 1204N720Q0025 on or about April 23, 2020, for the STAR RS FIRE OFFICE ROOF REPLACEMENT, Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The solicitation will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 23, 20202, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, Region 6, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest has a requirement for the Star RS Fire Office Roof Replacement located at the Siskiyou Mountains (Star) Ranger District. Work includes but is not limited to removal and disposal of asphalt roofing and flashing, replacement of plywood roof sheathing as necessary, replacement of roof vents, and installation of new asphalt roofing materials and metal flashing. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a firm -fixed price contract. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238160. The size standard is $15 Million. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. (Awards over $35,000.00) The solicitation with specifications and Construction wage requirements will be posted to the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. on or about April 23, 2020. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to quoting on project. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
