THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT JUNE 12, 2020. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Hell Canyon Dam Boat Launch project consists of demolition of existing steel stairs, platform lift and associated site work along dock slide, excavation of deposited gravels, repair of existing dock slide frame, supply and installation of new floating dock with associated maintenance and adjustment of existing dock adjustment mechanism, supply and installation of new steel stairs, associated site work, hauling and placement of large quantity of government furnished large rock fill adjacent to the existing concrete boat ramp, in-water grouting under existing concrete launch ramp surface, and replacement of a gabion retaining wall. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest on the Hell Canyon Creek Boat Launch site one mile below Hells Canyon Dam on the Snake River. From Oxbow Oregon, go 22 miles northerly along Hell Canyon Reservoir to Hell Canyon Dam. Cross the dam, and continue one mile to the site. Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract.
