PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The US Forest Service intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a Small Business 8(a) contract to Sunset Forestry Inc, 3645 AVENUE G, White CIty, OR, 97503. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 19.804-3. This notice will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 115310- Support Activities for Forestry; the size standard is $8.0 Million. The US Forest Service intends to negotiate a one-time small business 8(a) sole source contract with Sunset Forestry to conduct tree thinning for hand and grapple piling located on the La Grande Ranger District Oregon. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, BIDS or PROPOSALS, and a solicitation will not be issued. Responsible sources may identify their interests and or provide a capability statement as a response to this notice. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to and no later than January 29, 2021 at 1600 PST.
