Conduct surveys for invasive plant species within 30 meters of roads within the Echo Mountain Fire area and 10 meters of roads within the Siuslaw National Forest. Surveys will be conducted at a time of year that will allow detection of invasive species. Forms capturing general ecological and physical characteristics of the area surveyed are required in either hard copy or electronic copy; these forms are required regardless of invasive species presence. The extent/boundary of an infestation will be recorded using a GPS unit and delivered in a polygon shapefile describing the boundary. All work performed will be in the Siuslaw National Forest, with survey areas defined in provided maps. Contract time begins on the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and runs until the appropriate number of calendar day’s elapse. Estimated time to start work is July 1, 2024.
