Project consists of constructing a 150 ft prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge on a reinforced concrete abutment and a drilled in pipe piling abutment as well as a contractor designed, furnishe... Project consists of constructing a 150 ft prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge on a reinforced concrete abutment and a drilled in pipe piling abutment as well as a contractor designed, furnished & installed retaining wall access ramp to the trail bridge on one side of the bridge. Work includes but is not limited to; temporary traffic control, construction survey and staking, clearing and grubbing, soil erosion and pollution control, structural excavation, installation of (2) x 16” diameter drilled in steel pipe piles with a cast in place concrete pile cap, design/furnish/construction of a retaining wall for an accessibility ramp on one side of the bridge, design/fabrication/transport/construction/placement of a prefabricated steel truss superstructure, coordination/placement of a 4” diameter waterline crossing the new bridge structure, relocating 2” and 4” galvanized waterlines with appropriate valves and boxes, basalt masonry stonework for fascia on both sides of retaining wall, basalt stone step construction, waste removal, placing aggregate base, paving and mulching.
