SCOPE OF WORK The purpose of these agreements is to obtain a pool of contractors available to provide commercial, non- personal, professional services in support of the timber, natural resource management, and land use activities of the Forest Service (USFS) and Service First Agencies (http://www.fs.fed.us/servicefirst/). The intent is to award a sufficient number of BPAs to ensure adequate competition for all covered services in all geographic locations. The Government may issue BPA calls to perform work in any or all of the subject areas listed above in order to carry out respective programs. The Government may also issue BPA calls for other professional services in land use and resource management-related disciplines, including those not listed above. LOCATION The project area will be defined in each BPA call for the specific project. Project areas may be located anywhere on USFS or Service First Agency managed lands in Oregon, Washington and California. Some of the work may include private land adjacent to forest lands or forest lands with mining claims on them in accordance with the Wyden Amendment (Public Law 109-54, Section 434) authorizes the Forest Service to enter into cooperative agreements to benefit resources within watersheds on National Forest System lands.
