This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333991 Power driven hand tool manufacturing. Solicitation number 12034320Q0221 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for brand name Stihl chainsaw parts for the Aerial Fire Depot (AFD), Northern Rockies Fire Cache (NRK), in Missoula, MT, 59802. Chainsaw parts are for repair and replacement of the following chainsaws; 044, MS440, MS460, and MS461 for the NRK Repair Shop. The awarded purchase order will be a firm fixed price. One award will be made to the Quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer is most advantageous to the Government, considering but not limited to factors such as meeting brand name, price, and reasonable delivery timeframe. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, and 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
