Scope of Work This project will involve the removal of an existing compressor component on a Frick Model RXF 30H Screw Compressor Unit and replace it with a new compressor component. Project Description The contractor will pump out the refrigerant from the compressor and remove the compressor from the unit. A new compressor will be install with new gaskets, oil filters and related components. The alignment of the compressor shaft will be checked and the unit will be pressure tested following installation. Compressor oil will be supplied by the Forest Service. Following pressure testing the unit will be prepared for normal operation. The compressor will be started and run under load. Operation checks will be performed to ensure that the compressor performs and meets factory standards. Vibration analysis will also be performed.
