This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at www.acquisition.gov. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the small business size standard is $15 million. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541690. Solicitation number 12034320Q0193 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide Forest Health Analysis & Spatial Statistical Support for the Forest Service, Northern (R1) and Intermountain Regions (R4), Forest Health Protection. Support consists of extensive experience working with forested ecosystem projects. The awarded purchase order will be a firm fixed price. One award will be made to the Quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer is most advantageous to the Government, considering but not limited to factors such as price, past performance and capability to accomplish this type of work. This is an indefinite-quantity contract for services specified, and effective for the period stated, in the Schedule and Solicitation. The quantities of supplies and services specified in the Schedule are estimates only and are not purchased by this contract. Performance Period will begin approximately July 2020 for a Base Year and Three Option Years at the discretion of the Government. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (JUN2020), FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation – Commercial Items (OCT 2014), and FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items (JUN 2020) applies to this acquisition.
