This announcement is a presolicitation notice and the USDA Forest Service, Region 1, located in Missoula, MT is solciting a Request for Quote (RFQ) 12034320Q0153 for a firm fixed price construction project. Project is located on the McKenzie Ranger District, McKenzie County ND., Dakota Prairie Grasslands. Map has been attached. This project consists of repairing two drainage crossing as shown on map and as staked on the ground. Crossing repair shall include sub excavation, placing fabric, placing Class 13 aggregate, placing Government Furnished (GFM) fabric, placing GFM Flexamat, performing road reconditioning (north site only), placing aggregate road and placing aggregate to cap flexamat. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. Project is estimated below $25,000. It is anticipated that work can begin on or around June 30, 2020. Contract time will run continuously and all work must be completed by October 1, 2020. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable Davis Bacon wage rates. The solicitation will be advertsed to this site with all of the supporting documenation on or before May 27, 2020. All responsible small businesses may submit an RFQ in response to Solicitation number: 12034320Q0153, after the documents are attached. A pre-bid tour will not be held.
