The USDA Forest Service, East Side Acquisition Team (ESAT), Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price construction contract for the Yogo Crossing Road Relocation project. The project consists of relocating Forest Road No. 825. After completion of the project this section of Rd. 825 will be converted to jeep trail J825 in Forest Service system. Specific work items to Forest Road No. 825 include, but are not limited to: roadway excavation and embankment, clearing and grubbing, culvert installation, road obliteration, possibly some blasting and all other items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work The project site is located in the Judith-Musselshell Ranger District of the Helena- Lewis & Clark National Forest - approximately 20 miles northwest of Saphire Village in Judith Basin County, MT (T 13N, R 11E Section 27). Magnitude of Project (per FAR 36.204(b)): Between $100,000 to $250,000. There is no formal site visit for this project. Vendors are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting their quote.
