Execute specified tasks to refurbish all paved surfaces at the Priest Lake Information Center (~67,000 sq ft), including, but not limited to the following: Remove any vegetation overgrown onto edge of paved surfaces, and thoroughly sweep and clean all paved surfaces. Prepare and patch all damaged areas using general industry standards for surface patches. For deep patches, remove damaged material, repair and compact subgrade, apply a tack coat, place hot-mix asphalt full-depth, then level flush with adjacent surfaces while hot. Prepare and fill all cracks using rubber-asphalt compound; use of truck/trailer mounted pressure applicator with a hand wand is preferred. Apply two coats of emulsified asphalt seal coat to all paved surfaces; use of a truck-mounted or trailer-mounted insulated tank asphalt distributor, with spray bar, is preferred. Mark pavement surfaces. Apply marking paint with mechanical equipment to produce pavement markings, of color and dimensions indicated, with uniform, straight edges. A revised marking plan will be provided at the pre-work meeting. For planning and estimating, the revised plan will be very similar to the existing markings. Project Location.
