USDA Forest Service Region One Bitterroot National Foreset intends to award an Invitation for Bid for the following BMP project locted on Willow Creek Road. The project consists of Best Management Practice (BMP) upgrades, road improvement work, and gravel surfacing placement. Work includes roadway preparration by blading, shaping, and compaction of existing roadway, culvert installations (both ditch relief and live stream), clearing of roadside brush, catch basin and ditch block construction, ditch and shoulder reconditioning, and inlet/outlet cleaning. This work will also include construction of drain dips suitable for log truck traffic at specified locations within the roadways as well as installation of government furnished w-beam water bars.
