The Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF) are a jointly administered set of three national forests located in the state of Idaho that extends into the states of Montana and Washington. The mission of the Forest Service and Idaho Panhandle National Forests is to sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the Forests. In meeting this mission the IPNF has a need to construct a fireline and fuel break and to conduct slash piling in the forest in Priest Lake and Bonners Ferry, ID. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to construct a fireline, fuel break and associated slash piling in a manner for optimal future Forest Service burning.
