This is a Solicitation Notice for a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the restoration of the Van Lake Campground. The major items of work include: constructing new access road; clearing and grubbing; excavation and camping spur reconstruction; hauling and placing barrier rocks and crushed aggregate surfacing; fabrication and installation of concrete/wood picnic tables and concrete wheel stops; installing Government-furnished fire rings and food storage locker; obliterating 0.39 miles of road; and seeding, fertilizing and mulching the sites. The Van Lake Campground is located in Missoula County Montana, Swan Lake Ranger District, Flathead National Forest. 33 miles south of Bigfork Montana on highway 83. Township 22 North, Range 17 West, Section 03 The estimated number of work days for this project is 30 days. Work will be performed during the following performance periods: July 15, 2019 through Oct. 1, 2019 and/or June 15, 2020 through Oct, 1, 2020. No work is allowed between the dates of Oct. 2, 2019 through June 14, 2020. The estimated dollar range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000.
