The Contractor shall provide a complete aftermarket alteration of vehicles. The intent of awarded contracts is for a contractor to provide and install after-market components, accessories, and vehicle decals on Government-Furnished vehicles. These vehicles will be newly manufactured cab and chassis, sport utility vehicles, pickup trucks, or sedans. The final product(s) shall be complete, fully operational, and certified vehicles. Special conditions and exact vehicle type will be noted when an order is placed. In the event of any dimensional inconsistencies with the vehicle as manufactured, specifications, standards, etc., the Contractor shall be responsible to assure proper fit and operation of the completed product. Contractors are encouraged to utilize bio-based products and non-ozone depleting chemicals in production. Use of recycled items or products made from recycled materials (or content) is subject to approval by the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall identify such products at least 10 days before items are purchased by the contractor to allow the Government time to determine if items are acceptable.
