THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The USDA Forest Service has a continued need for Mobile Shower Facility Units at various locations during wildland fire, prescribed burn, all hazard, and other types of incidents throughout the United States. Contractors shall maintain 1) clean, sanitary, and properly maintained shower units that meet contract specifications at all times; 2) sufficient supplies such as towels and soap for incident personnel use; 3) sufficient potable hot and cold water needed to take safe, comfortable showers; 4) timely arrival, set-up, and hours of operation that accommodate all of the incident personnel needs; and 5) knowledgeable, trained, and dependable Mobile Shower Facility Managers and personnel on site at all times. The USDA Forest Service anticipates multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) with Economic Price Adjustment with four additional Option Periods. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or around April 21, 2023. Proposals will be due on or around May 22, 2023. The RFP will be issued set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $30 million. Proposals will be considered from all responsible sources who submit a timely proposal that conforms to the solicitation.
