The U.S. Forest Service, Washington Office of Procurement & Property Services, Incident Procurement Operations, Incident Support Branch-Logistics at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho, will be soliciting quotes for the purchase of 139 Slingable Water Bags, 72 gallon (272.6 liter) capacity, for the handling and transportation of non-potable water, cataloged in the National Fire Equipment System as item NFES 0426. Bags are tetrahedron (4-sided triangular pyramid) shaped with one 4” fill port, one ¾” flanged outlet, and a 1” hose with spigot. Bag material is heavy-duty vinyl, orange in color, with stenciled 1-3/4 block style lettering, color black, reading “NFES 0426”. Bags are designed to be lifted and transported via helicopter by attached metal rings with sling/harness, or by truck. This solicitation will be advertised as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a single Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the purchase of 139 units to be delivered to the Rocky Mountain Area Incident Support Cache, Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO by no later than 08/05/2022. This is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis only. Quotes are not being requested nor accepted at this time. Quotes will be requested when the Solicitation is posted early May 2022.
