UPDATE - 12/16/2020 - Pre-Proposal Conference Call Notice of Pre-Proposal Conference Call to discuss and answer any questions interested parties may have pursuant the National Mobile Food Services - Reno, Nevada Designated Dispatch Point. The Pre-Proposal Conference Call will be held on Friday, 18 October 2020 at 1000 Mountain Time. To enter the call please dial 888-844-9904 and use participant code 3679542#. Please contact the Contracting Officer with any questions or concerns. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ National Mobile Food Services - Reno, Nevada DDP Only The USDA Forest Service, Incident Support Branch at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, ID is soliciting for the National Mobile Food Services for one (1) Exclusive Use Mobile Food Service Unit (MFSU) at the Reno, Nevada Designated Dispatch Point (DDP) with a Mandatory Availability Period (MAP). The Exclusive Use MFSU awardee is annually guaranteed orders equal to the amount of $1,000 per day for the MFSU for each day of MAP. The potential to be awarded additional Call When Needed (CWN) units is included in the same solicitation. CWN units may be awarded as a separate line item on an Offeror's resultant contract provided the Offeror receives the MFSU award at the Reno, Nevada DDP, has offered additional units that meet the specifications and has indicated these units are to be considered for a CWN line item. Due to the sporadic occurrence of Incident activity, the placement of any CWN orders IS NOT GUARANTEED. The resultant contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed pricing for meal services for fire suppression activities, all-hazard incidents and severity/preparedness assignments. The successful Offeror will be required to provide appetizing, nutritional, well balanced hot and special meals, Shift Provisions/Sack Lunches, hot and cold can meals and supplemental items for incident personnel. The MFSU must include all equipment, supervision, labor, materials, and supplies to accommodate the Government’s need. The Equipment must be capable of operating in adversely impacted urban areas to remote primitive locations with very limited access. The effective period of the resultant contract will be from date of award through 31 December 2024. A virtual Pre-Proposal Conference is planned for approximately 10 days after the posting of this solicitation to discuss and answer questions about the solicitation. This procurement is available to all current National Mobile Food Services contract holders and any new offerors interested in this opportunity. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside and all responsible sources may submit a response which will be considered by the USDA Forest Service. All offerors must have an active registration in SAM.GOV at the time of submission in order to be considered. Any offeror that does not have an active SAM.GOV registration will be rejected as non responsive.
