The USDA Forest Service is reopening an onboarding process for a Multiple Award Incident Blanket Purchase Agreement to add an East Zone Mechanic with Service Truck for Regions 1, 2, and 4 for fire suppression and all-hazard incidents. This is not a new procurement; the evaluation criteria, terms, conditions, and period of performance are identical to the original solicitation. Both new offerors and existing agreement holders can submit quotes or modify rates through the VIPR system during this open season, with all proposals subject to the original solicitation's criteria. After onboarding, new contractors and accepted resources will be eligible to receive dispatches.

The USDA Forest Service anticipates soliciting quotes for a Mechanic with Service Truck for fire suppression and all-hazard incident support. The contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, personnel, and management necessary to meet the agreement specifications. Proposed rates should be based on up to a 16-hour daily shift, and agreements will be competitively awarded to small businesses within regional dispatch centers. Vendors must select the dispatch center closest to their resource location and must be registered in SAM.gov with a UEI number and a USDA Level 2 eAuthentication account. All quotes and communications must be submitted electronically through the VIPR system.
