Amphibious Water Scooper Aircraft Services
The government seeks contractor-operated and maintained turbine-powered, multi-engine, amphibious, fixed-wing water-scooping aircraft services. Aircraft must have full or interim Interagency Airtanker Board approval as a multi-engine water scooper. The primary use will be initial attack and extended attack of wildland fires. Amendment #2 has been issued to answer submitted questions.
Water Scooper Multiple Award IDIQ
The USFS intends to issue a solicitation in or around 15 days for Water Scooper Services and expects to award multiple IDIQ contracts. The contract(s) will provide contractor-operated and maintained turbine-powered, multi-engine, amphibious, fixed-wing water-scooping aircraft. Aircraft must have full or interim Interagency Airtanker Board approval as a multi-engine water scooper. The primary use of these aircraft will be initial attack and extended attack of wildland fires.
Water Scooper Multiple Award IDIQ
The US Forest Service plans to issue a solicitation for Water Scooper Services, with multiple IDIQ contracts to be awarded. The contracts will require contractor-operated, turbine-powered, multi-engine, amphibious, fixed-wing water scooping aircraft with IAB approval. These aircraft will primarily support initial and extended attack on wildland fires. The solicitation is expected to be released in approximately 15 days. No budget amount or performance location is specified.
