HandHeld Infrared Devices for Aerial Supervision The objective of this soliciation and any resulting contract is to obtain 10 Short Wave Infrared Pocket Scope with the following specifications. Short-Wave Infrared Monocular Specifications Dimensions: 6”x2”X3” to 6”x3”x3” including lenses Weight: 1.5 lb or less Modular: 2 to 3 easily interchangeable lens options Endurance: Greater than 2 hours of continuous operation at room temperature with lithium Manganese Dioxide batteries Sensitivity: Covert out-of-bound SWIR imaging 0.07 to 1.7 ?m eye, 1.06 ?m laser designators and 1.55 ?m eye-safe laser rangefinders in day and night Resolution: 640x500 Durability: MIL-STD-810G compliant design for temperature, transportability, immersion, sand, altitude, dust and humidity Versatility: Helmet mountable, adjustable reticle, digital zoom, and recordable SWIR images and video to removable memory card Performance: See through haze, dust, and smoke from aerial platforms and through airplane glass/windows Lenses: 25mm F1.4, 50mm F1.4, and 128mm F2.0 The components of work: The Aerial supervision programs requires an infrared device to enhance the aerial ability to see wild land fire active in smokey condition. The device must not be mounted or otherwise installed in that aircraft. The device must be capable of seeing thought aircraft glass. The device should be compact and unobtrusive in the aircraft, be easily stowable, and be capable of looking through aircraft glass and smoke. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price.
