The US Forest Service Helicopter Program is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify Alaskan vendors capable of providing helicopter services, possibly for an on-ramp to its current Multiple Award Task Order Contract. Missions may include fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, short-haul, rappel, limited non-threatening law enforcement surveillance, reconnaissance, and related administrative/resource activities. Services would be contracted under Call-When-Needed and Exclusive Use arrangements. Performance is in Alaska.
