The bridge and grade beams have already been procured and are located at the Blackrock Ranger Station, 8 miles East of Moran Junction on Highway 26/287. The contract does not include the purchase of the bridge or grade beams. All work shall be in compliance with the contract documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, transportation and installation of a new pedestrian/stock bridge and grade beams as per the attached plans, and the removal of the existing bridge structure and components. This bridge is located completely within the designated Wilderness. All Wilderness Act regulations and requirements will apply unless otherwise noted in the contract documents. The COR and the Contracting Officer (CO) will identify a staging/laydown/assembly area at the construction site.

Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Hawks Rest Bridge Replacement project located on the Blackrock Ranger District, Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. The project consists of delivering and installing a 170 foot span prefabricated steel truss trail bridge and 2 precast concrete grade beams. The bridge and grade been have already been purchased by the Government and are located at the Blackrock Ranger Station. The bridge project is located completely within the congressionally designated Teton Wilderness. All Wilderness Act regulations and requirements will apply unless otherwise identified in the solicitation and any resulting contract. A pre-proposal conference for the project has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Details regarding the pre-proposal conference will be provided in the solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposals. The approximate start work date will be August 2020. Proposals are due at 1:00 p.m. MST, June 17, 2020. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 2, 2020 and may be downloaded from this site at that time.
