Presolicitation Notice Jeanette Creek AOP Upgrade SCOPE OF CONTRACT Work consists of removal of existing culvert and replacement with an AOP structure, NFSR#246 at MP 2.3 Replacement will be 12’ Span (across stream) x 9’ Height x 32’ Width (across roadway) precast concrete box culvert with a 15 degree skew. Work includes surveying and staking, dewatering, removal of existing metal culverts, excavation and embankment, placing riprap, installing precast open bottom box with footings, developing streambed, and placing crushed aggregate. Project will also include the design, fabrication, transport and installation of precast box culvert. PROJECT LOCATION The project sites are located in the McCall Ranger District near Burgdorf hot springs. Head north from McCall on Warren Wagon Road for approximately 31 miles. Turn left at the Burgdorf road (NFSR# 50246). Travel approximately 2.3 miles to the project location. See map in project plans. The magnitude of proposed project is Between $100,000 and $250,000. The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through beta.sam, https://beta.sam.gov/ on or within 15 days of this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from beta.sam. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on bet.sam. GENERAL ITEMS COMMON TO ALL AOP’s:Submit an erosion control plan that will show the stream diversion plans. Remove and dispose of existing pipes. Set and maintain survey control staking by referencing Government supplied control points. *Place stream simulation rock salvaged from excavation to construct a natural stream channel. Backfill new structures. Salvage rock for riprap on the fill slopes. Haul any excess material to the disposal sites shown on the plans. Haul and place government supplied crushed aggregate. Scatter slash, mulch and spread government supplied seed on disturbed areas. **Supply and place Type III traffic barriers and ROAD CLOSED AHEAD signs. * This project includes this processing and import of stream simulation material from a government furnished site. **This project requires the road to remain open.
