Austin (NV Humboldt-Toiyabe NF ) Administrative Compound Painting and Door Replacement SCOPE OF CONTRACT This project consists of exterior painting of the structures at the Austin Administrative Compound. Included is proper surface preparation, replacement of rotted trim or siding, roll-on application of wood stabilizing primer, one intermediate coat, and one topcoat for each structure specified in the Schedule of Items. It is the responsibility of the bidder to verify quantities and site conditions prior to bidding. Installation of a new door and frame for the front entrance into the office. The existing frame is approximately 70" wide, 82" tall and 4.5" thick. It includes a 36" wide by 80" tall door with full height side light. The exact dimensions shall be verified by the contractor prior to install. Storefront style frame and door shall be used and full sealed. It shall include a closer, panic bar on the inside and lever handle with pin pad and key access on the exterior. Door shall have full height glass. All glass shall be double pained and Low E coating. Optional work that may be awarded includes all work described above associated with: Replacement of the door handle on the office side door to have pin pad and key access. PROJECT LOCATION The project is located in the Austin Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forests, Lander County, Nevada. It is located at 100 Midas Road, Austin, Nevada 89310. From Highway 50 within the city of Austin, Nevada, turn north on FS Road 43184 and travel 0.4 miles to the compound.
