The objective of this solicitation and any resulting contract is to obtain fully contractor operated and maintained exclusive use type I helicopter services in support of the US Forest Service wildland suppressions programs. The solicitation will contain 28 contract line items for helicopters at 28 locations throughout the US. Line items will contain either tier 1 or tier 2 performance requirements and be required to have either a tank or bucketed operations as identified in the Schedule of Items. The contract period will be April 01, 2019 through March 31, 2020 with options to extend the term of the contract for an additional three years. The resulting contract will be a fixed rate hybrid requirements and indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. Questions shall be submitted prior to Close of Business (COB) December 06, 2019. A Preproposal meeting will be held in Boise, ID on December 10th, 2019 at 0900 – 1200 MT at the Best Western Vista Inn at 2645 Airport Way, Boise, ID 83705. This Solicitation is Amended by Amendment 01 effective November 22, 2019. Please refer to Amendment 01 for details. This requirement is set aside 100% for Small Business.
