The USDA Forest Service, Alaska Region, Tongass National Forest requires road and bridge maintenance activities on the 8 Fathom road system near Hoonah. The work involves, but is not limited to, remediating culverts and ditches, moving/hauling earthen materials, and maintaining roadways. This work is subject to the Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute. The order of magnitude of this work is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. This activity is subject to a HUBZone set-aside, and is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) through a Request for Quotes (RFQ).
