The USDA Forest Service, Alaska Region, Tongass National Forest. - The project is located on Chichagof Island adjacent to Corner Bay on the south shore of Tenakee Inlet. The Corner Bay administrative site is accessible by charter boat, floatplane, or helicopter. The Alaska Marine Highway System has historically made scheduled ferry sailings to Tenakee Springs. As of 7-13-20, the AMHS schedule does not currently list any sailings to Tenakee Springs. A drive-down salt water dock and marine access facility are within one half-mile of the administrative site, connected to the administrative site by Forest Service Roads 7551 and 75511. This activity is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) through a Request for Quotes (RFQ). For more information, see the attached RFQ and associated documents.
