The USDA Forest Service, Alaska Region, Tongass National Forest requires road maintenance activities on Prince of Wales Island. The work involves, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing culverts, remediating roadside ditches, moving/hauling earthen materials, and maintaining bridges. This work is subject to the Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute. The order of magnitude of this work is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This activity is subject to a HUBZone set-aside, and is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) through a Request for Quotes (RFQ).
