This is the same RFQ that was posted to FBO as a combined synopsis solicitation. Documents and all updates/Q-A/amendments will be posted to this notice. ************************ This presolicitation notice is for replacement of a trail bridge (approximate length of existing bridge is 73') at MP 2.286 on the Windfall Lake Trail in Juneau, Alaska. The existing bridge consists of four steel open web joists, timber deck, timber handrail and timber abutments. The contractor furnished and installed replacement bridge consists of four steel open web joists, timber deck, steel cable handrail and glu-lam timber abutments. Work includes trail construction for a short re-alignment of the existing trail, construciton of new trail approaches leading to the new bridge and construction of timber crib steps. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The government anticipates issuing a solicitation within the next week with quotes due in early September.
