This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price contract. All responsible sources may submit a quote in response to this solicitation, which shall be considered if your company is active in SAM.gov. A contract may be awarded resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The United States Forest Service (USFS) intends to award one contract for the acquisition of items listed below. The Government intends to select one contractor; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the quotes and prices submitted. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to provide annual inspection, testing, and certification of Tongass National Forest Service administrative building fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, 2013 edition. The contractor shall maintain and repair the fire alarms in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Work also consists of remote supervision of fire sprinkler systems.
