In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs incurred. The resulting contract will have a base year with 4 option years starting 05/01/2019. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for janitorial Services for the Wrangell Ranger District Office in Wrangell, Alaska. Wrangell is a remote location in Southeast Alaska that is only accessible by commercial airlines, air via small fixed wing companies, Alaska Marine Highway (ferry), and commercial barge. Due to the remote location it can be challenging to hire qualified employees and to have supplies arrive in a timely manner. Contractors are responsible for having the background check done in a timely manner on all employees. Questions will be taken until 10:00 Alaska Standard Time March 19, 2019.
