The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This project will replace the existing creosote-treated multi-span vehicle bridge that crosses Redfish Lake Creek at the outlet of Redfish Lake with a new narrower single span treated timber trail bridge. Construction will consist of 1) removing the existing approximately 30’ wide by 88’ long two-lane vehicle bridge including asphalt surfacing, treated railing and underlying superstructure members, treated abutment/pier substructure, abutment riprap, attached water/irrigation piping, and all other appurtenant existing bridge elements; 2) installing a new approximately 13’ wide by 95’ long treated timber trail bridge system set on new treated timber abutments having turned diameter timber rails/posts, a timber wear surface, new abutment riprap armoring, and which supports a new waterline for system connection/function; and 3) removing the existing bridge approach asphalt surfacing and installing new asphalt approaches including additional fill material and other miscellaneous improvements as required. Project Location: From Stanley, Idaho proceed south approximately four (4) miles on Idaho State Highway #75 to the junction with Forest Road 70214. Turn right onto Forest Road 70214 and proceed approximately 2.30 miles to the project location. Start Date: The anticipated Project Start Date is September 13, 2021 End Date: The Project End Date will be June 30, 2022 Estimated Price Range – Between $250,000 to $500,000 Funding IS available for this project.
