Interested parties with concerns should first contact the Contracting Officer, who will make every effort to respond within 10 business days; unresolved matters may proceed to an agency protest. Agency protests are targeted for resolution within 35 business days, and awards or performance are generally suspended during the protest period unless urgent/compelling or best-interest exceptions apply. Protests must include FAR 33.104-4(a)(3) information and be filed electronically with USDA and the Contracting Officer.
