This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as an IFB for Mozzarella Cheese and is set aside for small business concerns. It is the only solicitation; offers are being requested and no separate written solicitation will be issued. Concerns should first be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer, who aims to respond within 10 business days, and Tier 1 engagement does not pause the solicitation, delay award decisions, or suspend contract performance. Unresolved concerns may be filed as an agency protest with required FAR information, and USDA aims to resolve agency-level protests within 35 business days. Contract awards or performance are suspended during the protest period unless justified for urgent and compelling reasons or determined to be in the Government’s best interest.
