AMENDMENT #0001 HAS BEEN ADDED - Time Extension to 4/20/2020 and Clarification Answers This request for Proposals is for: Mechanical Grapple Piling Services This solicitation requires approximately 350 acres by piling existing and created slash and live vegetative materials with a “lift and pile” mechanism rather than a “push and pile” mechanism. Work shall be performed on slopes up to 30 percent. The objective is to eliminate vegetative competition and reduce the slash layer to a depth of 2 to 6 inches through grapple piling. Logs greater than 18 inches in diameter will be left in place. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, maintenance, labor, supervision, transportation, materials, tools, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the job.
