HUMBOLDT-TOIYABE SUPERVISORS OFFICE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT 2019 The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This project includes installation of a new roof on the entire building. The front portion of the building (CMU walls) shall have the parapet walls removed completely. The existing roof shall be left in place, foam shall be used to build up over the standing seams to provide a smooth continuous surface to install a single ply roofing system over. The existing gutters shall be abandoned with the new roofing extending beyond the perimeter walls. A new gutter system with downspouts shall be mounted to the exterior of the building walls. Gutters shall slope a minimum of 2% with a maximum drop of 3" at which a downspout shall be installed. All roof top units shall be placed on curbs with crickets to allow for proper roof drainage. Any roof penetrations identified to remain shall me fully sealed and tops extended a minimum of 12" above roof. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION The project is located in the Supervisor's Office of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Washoe County, Nevada. It is located at 1200 Franklin Way, Sparks, Nevada 89431. The nearest major intersection is Sparks Boulevard and East Greg Street.
