This acquisition is for RABORAL V-RG® oral rabies vaccine baits on demand during 2026 and 2027, with up to 6,965,000 units to be purchased. The vaccine is a live recombinant that cannot cause rabies but produces antibodies, and baits are available in coated sachet or fishmeal polymer forms. A firm fixed-price IDIQ contract with a one-year period of performance will be awarded, and only baits manufactured by Boehringer-Ingelheim are licensed. Delivery will be FOB destination to CONUS locations specified at time of order, with all shipping costs included in the purchase price. The government requires an advance supply of baits stored for immediate access during rabies control operations.
